A beautiful little coastal village nestled on the south coast of Tenerife, which, together with Arenas del Mar, El Cabezo, El Topo and Ensenada Pelada, belongs to the municipality of Granadilla de Abona.
Its name comes from the term «médano», which means dune, due to the presence of these natural formations in the area.
If you walk from the main beach at El Médano to Montaña Roja, you will find a million fabulous coves where you can enjoy the sea with a little more privacy.
